Montgomery keeps filling in along Eva Street. Community Impact reported that Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming opened Sept. 24 at 19970 Eva St., a Texas Roadhouse has filed plans for 20360 Eva St., and Wells Fargo plans a branch inside the Montgomery H-E-B. Most of the businesses on this stretch are small teams: groomers, clinics, salons, offices, and shops with five to twenty people on the clock. Those crews need a breakroom that works too.

You don’t need a big headcount for a free machine

A lot of small-business owners assume vending is only for warehouses and plants. It isn’t. A single snack-and-drink combo machine or one cold-drink machine fits in a back room or a customer lobby, and it gives staff something better than a run to the gas station between appointments. New machines are always free to you: installation, stocking, and service cost your business nothing. We earn our money on the product sold, not on the equipment.

Cashless by default, Smart A.I. Coolers when it fits

Every machine we place takes cards and phone tap-to-pay, so nobody has to dig for dollar bills. For busier sites, a Smart A.I. Cooler works like a small market: open the door, grab a drink, a sandwich, or a salad, and the cooler charges your card automatically. It holds fresh food that a spiral machine can’t, which matters for teams that work through lunch.

Stocking smarter, borrowed from the CDC playbook

The CDC’s Food Service Guidelines for Federal Facilities were written for government buildings, but the CDC notes they can be used in private workplaces too, and they cover vending machines and micro markets directly. Its vending checklist suggests simple moves: put healthier items at eye level, use clear-glass and well-lit machines, use refrigerated equipment so fresh food lasts, and offer smaller portion sizes. We use the same ideas when we set a planogram for a small breakroom. You still get the chips and sodas people expect, with water, protein bars, and lighter snacks easy to find.

Montgomery is home

Our shop is just down the road in Magnolia, and Montgomery is where we live, so Eva Street and Hwy 105 are part of our regular week. When a machine runs low or a card reader acts up, you call one local number and talk to the people who own and service the equipment, not a national call center. That’s the same classic route service we’ve run on Montgomery County routes for more than 20 years, with today’s cashless tech on top.
