Oak Ridge North keeps adding clinics along I-45. Community Impact reported that Fresenius Kidney Care celebrated the opening of its new dialysis center at 27172 I-45 North with an open house on Oct. 13. In-center hemodialysis runs on a schedule that keeps nurses, techs, and admin staff on site for long stretches—exactly the kind of workplace where a working breakroom matters more than a brochure.
Hometown Vending Services has stocked Montgomery County breakrooms for more than twenty years from our shop in Magnolia. Medical offices, dialysis centers, and clinic suites still need a classic snack and cold drink machine that takes cards and phones. When the staff lounge has room, a Smart A.I. Cooler adds grab-and-go sandwiches, yogurt, and fresh items next to the usual favorites.
Why clinic breakrooms need a real plan
NIOSH training for nurses on long work hours stresses scheduled rest breaks—at least every two hours—so staff can step away, eat, and reset without improvising. Clinics also need a designated staff area for food and drink, away from patient-care spaces. That is where a stocked machine earns its keep: quick protein, water and zero-sugar drinks, and familiar snacks people will actually buy between appointments.
In practice, a clinic planogram usually looks like this:
- Protein options such as nuts, jerky, trail mix, and bars
- Water and zero-sugar drinks beside the regular sodas
- Fresh grab-and-go in a Smart A.I. Cooler when headcount supports it
- The classic chips and candy staff still ask for

New machines are always free to you. Installation, stocking, and service cost your business nothing—we earn our money on the products, not the equipment. When something needs attention, you call a Magnolia-based operator who already runs Spring, The Woodlands, and Oak Ridge North routes—not a national call center.
If you manage a clinic or medical office along the I-45 corridor, see our Spring vending page and our Woodlands vending page. To talk about a machine or cooler for your staff lounge, call 281-305-8363 or send us a note.
